Keep pony tails, pig tails and plaits in place with these cute little crocheted hair bands.

Handmade from the remnants of larger knitting projects, each one is made up of a double flower design in co-ordinating colours, sewn onto a matching elasticated hair band. A cute recycled bead is sewn into the centre of the top flower. Ideal as a little extra gift for someone.

Available as a matching pair in a choice of colour combinations or as a single band in a random colour chosen by us.

Please note that as the bands are individually handmade they may differ in slightly in shade or shape from the examples shown in our photos.

Dimensions : The largest flower on each band measures approximately 4cm in diameter. The elasticated band stretches to 16cm in circumference.

Made by: Chris, Tukuza Design Location: Hampshire, England Background: I'm a professional craftsperson with over 30 years experience in hand-knitting and crochet and enjoy making a variety of clothing, bags and accessories. I love the challenge of creating bespoke and colour co-ordinated pieces for customers. Inspiration: I hate waste and am always experimenting with new ways to recycle left over wool from larger knitting projects. I also like to use wool from recycled sources such as sari silk waste and even cut up plastic bags and t-shirts. Best compliment: I love the expression on customer's faces when they realise that the plastic yarn I've use in my new range of crocheted brooches is actually recycled carrier bags!
