You would never have guessed this beautiful and stylish Tote Bag was once destined for landfill. Its actually made from decommissioned fire hose, previously deployed in active fire-fighting duty for up to 30 years.

Classic and timeless in design and eco-friendly throughout, even it's lining is made from reclaimed office furniture. Ideal as a day bag, it has a spacious zipped pocket, a mobile phone holder, two exterior pockets and straps which sit perfectly on the shoulder. Being made from fire hose means this bag is showerproof too and won't mind a spot of rain. It can be kept clean and looking good with a cloth dipped in a small amount of natural oil and vinegar.

Each bag is handmade and unique and may vary slightly in shade to the bag pictured here. Some have details of the hose batch number and original manufacturer's name, others may bear scars from their active past.
