At Eco Emporia we love recycled products with stories behind them. Being turned into book ends, means that these unwanted vinyl records can have several stories behind them!

Skilfully bent at a ninety-degree angle, they will neatly hold an entire row of books firmly upright. Also great for displaying a shelf of DVDs and CDs. Each record retains its original labels, covered with clear laminate for durability. The records may show some signs of being previously played and loved, but we think this just adds to their recycled charm.

Sold as a complimenting set of two, for example being by the same artist, the same record label or part of a double album.

Available in large or small size. Each large Vinyl Record Book End is made from either an LP or a 12" single. Each small Vinyl Record Book End is made from a 7" single.

The matching pair you receive will be chosen at random but if you would like to request a particular artist, album, record label or year of release, then we can source this for you at an additional cost. Dimensions : The small size is made from a 7" (19cm) vinyl record with a folded base of approx. 1 and a third inches (3.5cm). The large size is made from an LP or 12" (30.5cm) single with a folded base of approx. 3 and a quarter inches (8.5cm).

Made by: Raynard Smith Location: Dorset, England Background: I've always had a flair for art and enjoy making toys and gifts for my family and friends. Making vinyl record products came about one day whilst clearing out my 80's music collection. I experimented by putting a vinyl record in the oven and made a fluted bowl from it. Inspiration: I'm inspired by the downshifting mentality and have always got satisfaction from repairing something instead of replacing it. There is also the raw challenge of taking something that was designed for one purpose and changing it to fit another need, with the added bonus of preserving the original detail and identity.
