Waterproof, wipeable and sold in a set of 4 matching coasters, cut into a round or square shape.

Made by: Women’s Co-operative Location: Philippines Background: The co-op began as an environmental cleaning project which expanded into developing 'livelihood opportunities from garbage'. It now employs 200 women. Inspiration: ‘Doypack’ pouches of popular drinks were traditionally burnt, buried or left as litter. The co-op discovered that these colourful, tough and non-biodegradable packs were well suited to 'creative recycling' and began to collect, clean and sew packs together to create bags. Best compliment: The co-op has won awards for environmental concern, contribution to recycling and employment generation.
