This stylish and practical unisex saddle bag is made from fire hose which has been decommissioned after up to 30 years of active fire-fighting duty.

Recycled fire hose is the perfect material from which to make a day bag, as its hardwearing and rain-proof. This saddle bag is not just eco-friendly on the outside but on the inside too as it's lined with material reclaimed from unwanted office furniture.

This spacious bag has an interior zip pocket and an external pocket, both of which are secured behind a full-length flap. The main body of the bag is large enough to fit at book, camera, ipod or other travel essentials. An adjustable shoulder strap is attached.

Each is handmade and unique and the red colour may vary slightly from our photos. Some have details of the hose batch number and original manufacturer's name and some bear the scars of their active past, which only add to the character and story begind these beautiful recycled bags.
